THE STOCK EXGHANCE MARKET MODERATELY BRISK. Ooiulitions on the Wellington Stock Exohaugo at yesterday’s call levelled a moderately brisk market with a rising tendency generally. For Inscribed Stock (1939} >tdlers have reduced their demands to £94, or a reduction of 6s on previous day's tall. *3Bs have made a similar drop, whilst '33*s remain unchanged. In tlio bunk transactions Nationals coutinue to rise, buyers being quoted at the afternoon call at D 5 ISs 6a and rights at 19s 6d. Of thfe latter, sellers were IL-tevl at Jll and drew a sale on 'Change at .£*l, and a sale reported at the same figure. New Zealands show an increase for buyers and a slight reduction for sellers. Unions also display an upward tendency. Under the insurance section the National Mortgage (local) show a 3s increase on the buyers* side. No other changes were recorded. WELLINGTON EXCHANGE.
