The Gale, -which is due from Wanganui to-day sails for Dunedin direct this afternoon. Thence she proceeds on to Timaru and Lyttelton to load for Wellington and Wanganui. The Calm, which is due on Saturday from Bluff via ports, sails on Monday for Wanganui. She is due hack on Wednesday, and loads for abutjiern ports. The Waverley arrives from Patsa today, and sails on the return voyage on Monday next. The Corinna sails to-day for Dunedin, and loads there on Monday via ports for Wellington, Nelson and New Plymouth. The Kamo sails noon to-day for Westport to load back for Wellington. The Wingatui is to leave Dunedin to daT for Oamaru, Timaru, and Lyttelton She will load (here about Thursday next for Auckland. The Komata is Sxpected to leave Westport to-day for Wellington. She is duo on Saturday, and sails about Tuesday next upon her return trip. The Holmdale is due on Saturday from southern ports, and will sail on Monday next for Wanganui. She is due back at Wellington on Wednesday next to load for the south. Mr B. C. McCoughey has joined the Wanaka as chief engineer, Tice Mr R. Graham. The Ripple sails for Napier, Gisborne, and Akitio on Monday next. The Putiki is due about Thursday next from Napier to load rails for Wairoa.

The Invercargill, which is due from Wanganui on Saturday, will sail on her return trip on Monday next. The Kapiti is due from Wanganui on Saturday, and will sail again on Monday'. The Kapuni sailed last evening for Patea, .and is due back on Tuesday. The Hawera is due on Sunday from Patea, and will sail for the northern port again on Monday. The Baden Powell is due on Sunday from New Plymouth, and sails again on Monday. The Wairau is due on Saturday from Blenheim, and sails the samp day on her return voyage. The Kennedy- is due on Saturday from Foxton, and commences her return trip on Tuesday The Kamona sailed yesterday afternoon for Greymouth to load for Lyttelton. The Federal Agency advises that the liner Suffolk sailed from Sydney for Bluff on Wednesday. She is due at the southern port about Monday next, and proceeds on to Timaru, Lyttelton, and Wellington for loading. She will leave for United Kingdom, west coast ports, -■ ia Panama, about June 21st. PALOONA',S MOVEMENTS. The Union Co. advise that the Paloona is due on Sunday from Melbourne. It Is expected to dispatch her on Monday for Australia via southern ports. THE ARAHURA. The Arahura, . which was diverted to render assistance to the distressed Federal steamer Wiltshire, has been delayed a day. It is now hoped to dispatch her on Saturday from Napier for Auckland. MATATUA’S MOVEMENTS. The Shaw, Savill steamer Matatua left Brisbane on Wednesday for Nelson, where she is due on Monday next. From that port the vessel will proceed on to Oamaru, Bluff, and Port Chalmers to complete loading. She is due at Wellington on June 22nd, and eails on Tuesday (27th) for London via Monte Video and Teneriffe. THE lONIC. The liner lonic is to leave Port Chalmers at 11 o'clock thi_s morning, and is due in port on Sunday next. She will sail at daybreak on. Saturday, June 10th, for London via Panama. ' HATIPARA AT HULL. The British India steamer Hatipara, which left Gisborne on April 4th., arrived at Hull on flay 29th, The New Zealand agents were the New Zealand Shipping Company. CANADIAN CONSTRUCTOR. The Canadian (Government steamer Canadian Constructor left port at 12.5 p.m. yesterday for New Plymouth and Auckland to discharge and load cargo for New York, Boston, and Montreal. She is , timed, to leave Auckland on Wednesday, June 7th, for New York direct. CANADIAN MILLER. The liner Canadian. Miller sailed from Wellington at *2.35 p.m yesterday for Napier. From that port she proceeds to Gisborne and Auckland to complete discharge of her American cargo and to load for New York. Boston, and Montreal. She is to sail from Auckland finally for New York via Papeete about Friday. June 9th. TAINUI AT COLON. The Sh.Vw, Savill, and Albion Co.’s passenger steamer Tainui is reported to have left Colon oh the morning of May 31st.
