HOCKEY
CARTERTON v. WESLEY. A match will be played at Newtown Park on Saturday, June 3rd, at 10 a.m., between the Carterton Hockey Club and, Ideal Wesley Club, at whoso invitation the Carterton men arrive on Friday evening, returning by tho express on Saturday afternoon. The game will be under tne control of Mr W. Keys. The following players have been selected to represent their Clubs:—Carterton: —Goal, Qrdish; backs, C. Bannin, Batten; halves, Goodin, Nielsen, Denbee; forwards, Riggs, Tunnicliffe, Smith, W. Bannin, Reading. Emergency; Perryman. Wesley:—Goal, White; backs, Burton, Russell; halves, Doig, Daniell, McLean; forwards, Philpotte, Brazendale, James, Woolcott, A. Johnston. Emergency, A. Bate.
