RAILWAY FATALITY

INQUEST ON VICTIM OPENED. The inquest upon Frank Hampton, who met his death at Ngahauranga during shunting operations on Wednesday morning, was opened by Mr F. K. Hunt, S.M., Crown Coroner, yesterday afternoon. After evidence of identification had been given by Allan Alfred Hampton, olerk, of Marten, and a brother of the deceased, the inquiry was adjourned until Monday afternoon.
