Farther progress in the construction of the first section of the East Coast railway from Napier to Eskdale may bo looked forward to very shortly (says an cxcluange). .Some 15.000 sleepers are being loaded in Australia by the Kawatiri for the Public Works Department at Napier, and should be in Now Zealand within the next fortnight.
