SEAMEN’S DISPUTE

SITTINGS OF CONCILIATION COUNCIL.

Dates for the hearing of the seamen’s disputes by councils or conciliation have been fixed as foliow:- —Auckland,, March 21st; Wellington, Mturoh 27th; Dunedin, April 4th. Assessor? for the union at each pf the sittings will be Messrs W. T. Young (general secretary of the Seamen’s Federation), W. Clarke (Dunedin), and T. F.. Anderson (Auckland). Sir Young will leave Wellington on Monday next to be present at the Auckland sitting. The assessors for the employers before the Conciliation Council at Wellington will be Messrs W. H. G. Bennett, W. G. Smith, and J. Smith.
