At ille annual -meeting of tlie council of tlio New Zealand Lawn-Tennis Association last evening, a sketch, was submitted of the Anthony Wilding memorial'shield, which, it was stated, should meet with universal approval. It is circular, with a base ,of rich oak and a centre of silver. There are numerous small shields attached, and the ornamentation is decidedly unique.
