SOVIET SEEKS AID. FIRE AND DEPRIVATIONS Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received October 30, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, October 29. A Copenhagen Report confirm* the rflmonrs that the Soviet is seeking a reconciliation with the Mensheviks, whose leadef has been invited to Moscow to undertake* negotiations. Many fires are occurring in Petregrad, for which the Bolsheviks blame the counter-revolutionaries. Moscow is so overcrowded that a mil. lion persons are living in 169,000’ rooms, which are mostly in a dilapidated condition. FRANCE. VOTE OF SIX MILLION FRANCS, Renter’s Telegram. PARIS, October 27. The Chamber of Deputies has passed a bill providing for tne appropriation of six million francs, for the relief of the Russian famine.
