The Informations were laid under section 33 of the Gaming Act, 1908, the defendants being excluded from admis-i exon to a racecourse. Michael Boyle, whorb Racecourse-De-tective Scott described as a person who had been previously convicted of vagrancy, was the first name called. Detective Holmes- said the roan had been convicted for trespassing on another occasion. He was fined £ls, in default two nfontbs' imprisonment. Michael Crowley pleaded guilty. It was stated that he had a long list or convictions, arising mostly out of drunkenness. The defendant said - he had nob been warned .off the racecourse on any other occasion. A fine of £& ,was imposed. . Edgar J. Doherty (Mr J. O'Donovan) was convicted and ordered to pay coats. Itwas stated that the defendant had previously been convicted for theft and for assaulting the police, but he had not been convicted *or trespassing on a racecourse. James Willoughby (.Mr A. B. Saeywright) was given a warning not to go on the course again, or else he would be fined.
