The Brooklyn senior team was granted, permission to play the Nelson Association on Saturday next, July 30th, at Nelson.^ Messrs .Yeoman, -Ching, and Stirratt were appointed selectors for the third division, in view of the matches to take place at Palmerston- North and t Nelson. All arrangements were completed fo-r the visit of the Canterbury first and second, division team© on Saturday next. The Otago Schools Committee asked tfie local association to send a school team to Otago this season. —It was decided to refer the matter to the schools' management committee, vlt was decided to allow the Hovers' sixth-class • team to play at Mfartinborough on Saturday next. It was also decided to pday Institute A v. Kilbirnie on August gth, in tho fourth division. The meeting was called by the Canterbury Football Association, which, has enthusiastically taken up the movement.
