LEAGUE TOURING TEAM. TO PLAY AGAINST AUCKLAND. PSB PRESS ABSOCIA.TTOK. AUCKLAND May 17. The following League football team will represent New Zealand against uckland on Saturday:—McCarthy, Mo. Blvee Woolley. Wilson, Watt, Saunders. Nunn, Somers, Williams, Tailored, Burrows Meadows, and Shadbolt; reserves: backs. Poison and Laing, forwards, Paki and Walters. ... , , Mitchell (Canterbury) being nnable to make the Australian tour, C. McCarthy (Hawke’s Bay) replaces him. THE CENTRAL CLUB. A special meeting of the Central (League) Club was held in the Y.M.C-A. last evening, Mr C. Snow presiding. There were also present Messrs H- Cranston, E. F. Bezar, H: O’Connell, and J. Hedges. Several new members were elected. A social committee, consisting of Messrs E Snow, B. 'Bezar, H. Cranston, HO’Connell and J- Baxter, was formed to convene social evenings during the season. i
