HIS MAJESTY’S THEATRE. FULLERS’ VAUDEVILLE. Fullers* vaudeville still upholds its claim to bp "always merry ana bright.' Lqst night, despite the rain and the southerly nip in the .air, there vm again-a very full house. Those versatihLondon comedians, noisy ana Bent, go. a flattering reception on their last appearance. . which also applied to nuiuM lsa Marie lika again sustained her re putation in. her dramatic . sketch, "Tears" with Mr Leslie Wood. Other .>opuiar favourites that appeared wer: Newman and Wynne, Vaude and Verne, i redo and Son. Keelev and AlOous. JLilas Birt, and Eddie Martyn. ' THE-KING'S. 'ALT'S BUTTON." "Alf’s Button,” the companion picture to “The Better ’Oie," still attracts large attendances at the King's. Aißs discovery that his button has the power of Aladdin's lamp is the forerunner of a wonderful voyage by Alf and Bert, which is fully charged with humorous incidents. Miss Kathleen O’Brien’s artistic dancing, es a prologue to the film, is still a strong attraction to the patrons of this popular theatre- Excellent and appropriate selections are supplied by the King's Grand Orchestra. The bill may be described as “the best laugh, the best dance, and the best music in town." THE EMPRESS - “DARLING MINE." Olive Thomas portrays in “Darling Mine" the adventures of a winsome 1-nah lass, and the film still proves a great draw. The thirteenth episode of “The Invisible Hand" is also followed with absorbing interest. / EVERYBODY’S. MYSTERY AND ADVENTURE. |Corinne Griffiths is in a mystery and adventure story in '‘ThoWrusp»r Market," a .Vitagraph production, shewing at Everybody’s. The narrative is gripping and dramatic, and is followed with almost breathless interest. In an excellent supporting programme, “Smiling" Bill Parsons causes much humour in “Oh, Bill, Behave." and the latest Paths Gazette is very interesting. To-morrow'e change offers the English masterpiece. "Alf’s Button,” which ha just finished a record-breaking season at the King’s. “SNOW-WHITE.” MISS HELEN GARDNER’S PRODUG TIONMiss G. Helen Gaid'ner, although only recently established here as a teacher of singing and elocution, ie already favour- ; ably known to the Wellington public. It is therefore confidently expected that her forthcoming production of the threeact fairy opera, “Snow-White,” will be an unqualified euccess. This is by no means Miss Gard'ner’s first attempt. "Snow-White” was performed in Dunedin by her pupils a year or two ago. nnd other of her plays have from time to time been enthusiastically received. The tseienty performers for the present entertainment include many of ■Wellington’s cleverest amateurs, and the dialogue, singing and dancing should be well up to the mark. The piece is to be brilliantly mounted, and the costumes worn are all designed by Mrs James Hannah, an artist in suan matters. The story with its thrilling incidents of the magic mirror;* the poisoned comb and fcke fateful apple; the wicked queen; the seven dwarfs, and the indispensable prinoe, will* bold the 'little ones enthralled, and forgetful elders wiU find that refreshing their memories of "Snow-White” is a delightful way of spending an evening.
