NEW GOVERNMENT’S POLICY. ABROGATION OF BRITISH TREATY. Australian and N */,- Cable Association. (Received April 6, 7.40 p.m.) WASHINGTON, April 5. The Persian Minister has submitted to the State Department a statement of the policy of the new Persian Government, which includes the abrogation of the Anglo-Persian Treaty and the evacuation of * all foreign troops from Persia. The Government’s programme also includes the reorganisation of the army ; the dissolution of the courts and the establishment of justice on a more solid basis; the partition of Government lands amongst peasants., the revision of certain conoesisons and an invitation to foreign advisers to organise the country. It is Believed that this poljgy will hasten America’s decision on the question ’of the recognition of the Persian Government and that the United States will champion anew the cause of Persian independence.
