Air Les Proctor, for many years with the firm of Messrs Wright, Stephenson and Co., Ltd., ot Invercargill, leaves today by the Paloona for Alelbourne. Air Proctor has been appointed to the management of a similar business some distance from the Victorian capital.

The Bishop of Alelanesia, the Right Rev. John Alamraring Steward, expects to be in Auckland at an early date. A meeting to welcome him will be held in the Town Hall on one Sunday afternoon during his stay in Auckland, probably earlV in April. The Bishop sails in the Southern Cross to the Islands about the middle of April.

Air H. J. Aliddlcton, of Waimabaks, has booked his passage to the United Kingdom by the Corinthic, on a visit to Iris relatives in England. Air Alidaleton, who departs in April, will also, in a business sense, represent the new-ly-formed New Zealand Dairy Exporters’ Association while in London, he being the president of that co-opera-tion.

Air Arthur Cleave was » passenger by the Alakura for tho United States, Great Britain, and tho Continent, and expects to return towards the end of the year. Air Cleave is one of the pioneers of motoring here, and was for many years hon. secretary of tho Auckland Automobile Association, and in 1918 was president. In 1903, he was the first motorist to make the run from Auckland to Wellington.
