HUTT HOCKEY CLUB
ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of tho Hutt Hooke* Club took place last week. Mr B. A Gmger was in the chair. The secretary reported that the financial position of the club was good. The outlook for the forthcoming season is bright. The Wellington Hockey Association had secured for the local club the Hutt recreation ground. This would enable Hutt teams to play at least half of their games on their own ground. The membership of the club stands at fifty. Two teams were placed in the field, a senior and a junior, and both did well. The Hockey Club was responsible for the formation of a ladies’ club, and two teams entered in the ladies’ competition. Officers elected' for the ensuing year were:— Patron, Mr E. P. Eishworth; president, Mr H. G. Teagle; vice-presidents, Messrs H. W.' Baldwin, A. Barry, H. Hannan, J. Mitchell, D. Riddiford, F. V. Riddiford, W Callender, J. Jones, and Mr T. M. Wilford, M.P.; club captain. Mr B. A. Ginger; selection committee, Messrs N. Judd, F. Hancock and F. Lusty; delegates to Hockey Association. Messrs B. A. Ginger and F. Hancock: bon. secretary and treasurer, Mr A. Smith; hon. surgeon, Dr Barron; auditor, Mr H. Heyes.,
