QUEENSLAND DEBENTURES
CLAIMS OF ENGLISH HOLDERS. Australian arc? N.Z Cable Association. (Received March 13, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, March 11. A deputation representing two hundred British holders of Etheridge debentures, aggregating three-fourths or the total value, interviewed Mr J. M. Hunter (Agent-General for Queensland) to-day. Mr Cooke, solicitor to a trustee who accompanied the deputation. insisted that British holders or bonds were legally payable in London. Mr Hunter promised to convey the representations to his Government.
