FRENCH REPRESENTATION TO U.S.A. Australian and "V 7. Crujo A ssocinHon (Received March 12, 12.5 p.m.) WASHINGTON, March 10. Although the officials refuse to comment on the Paris dispatch stating that tho French Ambassador to Washington is endeavouring to induce Resident Harding to accept a modified League, it- is felt that the report actually represents the situation. It is understood that France is anxious to have the United States enter the League with almost any reservations safeguarding American interests.
