Tlie coastal steamer John arrived at Oarnaru at 2.30 p.m. yesterday from Wanganui, after being delayed by rough weather. The vessel is to leave Oarnaru to-day for Wanganui. Captain Gultlio has been reappointed master of the Pelican. Captain Nelson late of that vessel, is to have command of the scow Echo. Air Moody will join the Echo as mate. Air J. Scott has signed on the Kapuni’s articles as actingmate.

The auxiliary scow Echo, whioh has been undergoing an overhaul at Blenheim, is expected at Wellington about next Wednesday. The Koranui will leave Wellington on Tuesday for Westport. The Maheno is to get away from Auckland next Wednesday for Sydney. Tlie Poherua is due at Wellington tomorrow coal-laden from Westport. The R.M.S. Niagara is fixed to sail fiom Auckland on April 12th for Vancouver via ports. The Kaiapoi is to leave Dunedin to-day for Lyttelton and Wellington with the remainder of her cargo from Melbourne. The Blackball Coal Company's steamer Ngatoro is to load at Greymouth on Monday for Napier, Gisborne, Tokomaru Bay and Whakatane. The Union Company advise that tho Kanna is to sail from Wellington to-day with general -cargo for Lyttelton and Dunedin.

CORINTHIC BRINGS CEMENT. The Shaw, Savill and Albion liner Corinthic, which is due at Wellington at midday on Monday from London and Southampton via Panama, ie bringing a quantity of cement only, the material serving practically as ballast. The vessel will, put out a small portion of the cement at Wellington and will leave here on Wednesday for Bluff with the remainder. ROTHESAY BAY DUE HERE. The baTquy Rothesay Bay, which left Newcastle on the Ist inst. for Wellington. has 1150 tons of coal for the Aliramar gasworks. The vessel comes to the agency of Winstone, Ltd. The Rothesay Bay should arrive at Wellington within a day or two. KUMARA SAILS- THURSDAY. The Shaw, 'SavuLl and Albion liner Kumara, which is now bunkering at the Clyde quay wharf, is 4o sail from Wellington next Thursday., for London via Panama. THE! PORT MELBOURNE. Tho C. and D. Lino advise that the Port Alolbourne. now loading at Gisborne, will proceed thence to Napier and Wellington, arriving here on the 20th inst. to fill up. The vessel ds to eail from Wellington on the 25th inst. for London via Panama. THE RAMA. The Chatham Islands Fishing Company’s steamer Rama arrived at Lyttelton yesterday from Waitangi (Chatham Islands) with a load of sheep. The vessel is to get away from Lyttelton to-day for Waitangi and Owenga and will proceed thence to Wellington with a cargo of fish. ATHENIC’S ITINERARY. The Shaw, Savill and Albion Company advise that the Athenic is to leave Wellington next Thursday for Auckland to put out the remainder of lier -cargo from London, and to load for Home. Tie vessel is due back here about the 31st inst. to fill up iand will sail finally from Wellington on April 7th for Southampton and London via Panama. RUAPEHU’S ITINERARY. The New Zealand Shipping Company advise that the Ruapehu, now discharging at Lyttelton, will put oat the remainder of her cargo at Dunedin. The vessel will subsequently load at BLuff, Lyttelton, and Wellington for London. NGAHERE FOR NAPIER. The Blackball- Coal Company advise that the Ngalicre is due at Napier on next Friday from Newcastle, and after discharging 800 tons of coal at the East Coast port she will go to Lyttelton to put out the remainder. ARAHURA AND MAPOURIKA. Tlie Arahura and Mapourika fire both to leave Wellington this morning direct for Nelson, sailing at 8.30 o’clock and 9 o’clock respectively.
