MR ROBERT SMILUE RESIGNS. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. LONDON, March 10. The resignation of Mr Robert Smfllie, president of the Miners’ Federation of Great Britain, has been accepted. A previous message stated: —lt is understood that Mr Smillie feels that his health is not equal to the strain of the prolonged struggle, which seems inevitable over the question of wages, according to some leaders of the Miners’ Union.
