NEW PARLIAMENT POSTPONEMENT WANTED IN TUB SOUTH. ALLEGATIONS DENIED. By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright (Received March 11, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, March 10. In the House of Commons Mr Lloyd George said the Government ucs considering a request from Southern Unionists in Dublin asking tor a postponement of the day appointed lor setting up the Southern Parliament. There would be no postponement of the Northern Parliament. Mr Denis Henry described ns without foundation the report, that Crown officers had assisted in the destruction of a large part of Cork city by connecting a firehose to a petrol supply and spraying the buildings with petrol. He also denied the statement that evidence to this effect had been given at the Stridand inquiry. OUTRAGE IN THURLES MURDER BY ARMED MEN. (Received March 11, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, March 10. A party of armed men visited several houses in Thnrles and shot two men. One was killed in bed alongside bis brother. ARMED MEN SURPRISED THREE SHOT DEAD AND TWO WOUNDED. (Received March 11, 9.35 p.m.) LONDON, March 10. The military surprised armed men near Mallow and shot three dead ‘and . wounded two. A POLICE RAID QUANTITY OF ARTIS DISCOVERER LONDON, March 10. The police raided the house of Councillor O’Riordan, who was arrested recently in Cork, and found twenty-one revolvers, eleven being automatics, 3600 rounds iof ammunition, and eleven bombs.
