MEDICATED WINE
ANOTHER GROCER FINED. Robert Raine, a grocer, Was, at the Magistrate’s Court yesterday, charged with celling a medicated wine known as “Wincaxnis,” which contained more than 10 per cent, proof spirit, within a no-license district. Mr T. Neave, who appeared for Raine, asked that tho case be dealt with in the same manner as a previous case of the same nature. A fine of 10s and 7s costs was accordingly imposed by His Worship.
