DOMINION CONFERENCE. THE CONCLUDING RESOLUTIONS. FEB PRESS ARSnCTITTOW. AUCKLAND, March 11. The annual conference of the Dominion Poultry Association was concluded to-day. It was decided to request the Minister for Agriculture to consider the advisability of appointing a Commission to inquire into the possibilities of the industry ,and the best means of developing it. A remit was adopted urging the Government to supervise the egg export trade, and enforce regulations that will ensure only a'higjh standard of eggs being exported. it was decided to ask the Government to compel all people keeping poultry for the sale of % eggs to pay a registration fee.
It was resolved that poultrymen support the association by paying 3d per 100 dozen eggs marketed. The next conference will be held at Palmerston North.
