SUNDAY SCHOOL UNION

MONTHLY MEETING. At the monthly meeting of the Sunday School Union, Mr Tvieadowcroft presided. There were nineteen members present. It was decided to hold the scholars’ examination in July on the June quarter's lessons, and to have two sets ot questions prepared on the International and Australasian courses.

It was reported that between SO and delegates had notified their intention of attending the Levin Convention, also a number will come down from Palmerston North by train each day. The president and secretary of the Auckland Union will attend and give addresses, and there will be a primary demonstration by Miss Warner, of Auckland, as well as papers by Mr D. E. Leslie and Miss Thornton. An invitation was accepted to hold the next meeting in St. James’s schoolroom. Air W. E. Howe promised t-o give an address on “The Absentee Scholar.”
