After passing the half mile post Tin Soldier (G. Young), Twinkle (F. Voight), and Marianne (L. McDonald) fell, the firstnamed apparently bringing the others down. Tullilah led from the turn in the Autumn Hurdle race and won well in record time for Fleinington. Tullilah was ridden by Tom Burn, son of the trainer. Elfacre led all the way in the Lloyd Stakes and scored brilliantly. Elfacre, which is a Doncaster' candidate, comes from Newcastle. Nautical was the pacemaker in the Governor’s Plato, but Eurythmic was in front at the distance, and won brilliantly. A great reception was accorded the winner of the race, and the time was a race record. Eurythmic- goes to Sydney next week. , There was a spirited struggle in the* Autumn Handicap. The pacemaker, Well; Off, battled gamely and dead-heat-ed. A. Woods had the mount on Wildun. In the run-off Well Off made the pace and just won. The March Nursery winner, Vinchilla is owned by Lady Hall, of South Australia. I T. Burn completed the double by rid- | ing Star Comedian.
