MEETING OR. THE., BOARD. A. meeting of the Wellington HarboW Board was held last night, the chairman, Mx J. G- Marfcuees, preentingThere were also present:—Messrs H. L. Sinclair, A. D. Mcleod. J- -G- Opbbe, J. W. McKwan. M. W- Welch. C.H. Chapman, C. J. B. Norwood, W_ Cable. O. E- Daniell, C. M. "Purred, and Captain C McArthur, and Mr R. A- "Wright, MP: It wafl decided: (a) To fix 12 noon, Wednesday, March 2nd, 1221, as the time and date for the public drawing at the offices of-the board, of fitty-one ,£IOO debentures of the board’s £850,000 consolidated loan;, <bi to apopint Mo Thomas Shailer Weston to act as notary public at the drawing; ;and 4e) to authorise the secretary to issue the necessary advertisements. By special resolution the board confirmed the toll of electors, comprising U Payers of dues on ships (45 names); (2) payers of dues on goods 1684 names). The roll is required in connection with the forthcoming election of Harbour Beard members, at which the payers of dues on (ships have the right to elect two members and the payers of dues on goods one member. The bank pass books showed: Current account, credit balance, -£59,546 10s 2d; imprest aoebunt, credit balance. £4061 15s lOd; on fixed deposit, £130,000. Payments were set forth os foBow: (For interest, sinking fund, accounts, ' claims, and wages, £63,076 16s 3d; for progress payment on contract, £779 19s id; for salaries for January, £1636 2s l«d. Total. £65,464 ISs 2d. A sum of £5 5s was denoted to the funds of the Wellington Surf Association.
