JAPAN AND KOREA
FRONTIER CONTINGENTS TO BE REINFORCED. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. TOKIO. October 10. The Cabinet has docided to reinforce the Japanese contingents on the Chinese side of the Korean frontier. One battalion -will be sent, from Korea, and more if necessary. The depleted Korean garrison will ho filled up with troops returning from Siberia. Japan will notify China and other foreign Powers of the reasons for the step. The Japanese battleship Hizen has been ordered to the Korean coast.
