EX-FEDERAL TREASURER

MR WATT ARRIVES IN SYDN&V. By Telegraph-Press Assn.—Copyright (Received October 11th, 1.1 p.m.) SYDNEY, October 11. Mr W. A. Watt has returned. He declined to make any comment jegarding his resignation. Mr Watt, who was Treasurer in the Federal Cabinet, went to London in connection with Australian wool matters. In consequence of a dispiito with Mr Hughes {Federal _ Premier), ho resigned office, 'and Sir Joseph Cook became Treasurer. It is not anticipated that anything further will bo made public of events leading tip to tho break until Mr Watt reaches Melbourne.
