TING CHOW MUTINY
QUESTION OF PUNISHMENT. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received September 5, 11.5 p.m.) PEKIN, September 3. Inspector-General Chang Tso-ling favoured death for 1500 troops r},o participated in the recent mutiny at Ting Chow, and was restrained from carrying out the punishment by the President, who favoured only shooting flio ringleaders.
