AERIAL "JOY RIDES"
FLIGHTS OVER. THE CITT.
The weather "yesterday was exceptionally good for the novel s-port of aerial '"joy-riding," and, during the afternoon, the .100 h.p.' passenger Avro, piloted by Captain It. Russell, made three fine, lengthy flight's over the citv at an altitude of about 5000 feet. While over the city, Captain Russell put the Avro through .several "banks'' and ''stalls," these aerial: evolutions being witnessed by thousands of interested spectators.' Those who made flights yesterday, were: Messrs M. J.Kober. Martin Beck, N. Forbes, W J. Leathern, and L. A. Compson. Pa'ssenger flights will be made daily from the Hutt Park, commencing at 10 a.m., a* a fee of £2 10s for iue minutes and £5 Us for ten minutes.
