BAIiLOT FOR OFFICERS. The ballot for the election of the national officers of tho New Zealand Labour party ("president, vice-presi-dent, and' secretary-treasurer) for the ensuing year will commence at TO a.m. to-day, and will close at 9 p.m. to-morrow. Tho annual conference of the phrty will bo held at Wellington on Thursday next, July Bth, when tho result of tho -ballot will he cotinted by specially-appointed returning officers. Tie nominations for the election are as follow; —President, Messrs J. Bead (Wellington) and P. Fraser (Wellington); vice-president, Messrs F. R. Cooke (Christchurch), J. A._ Loney (Dunedin), J. McKenzie (Wellington), R. Ross (Palmerston North), M. Silvcrstone (Dunedin), Mrs Snow (Wellington), and P. Vinnell (Timaru); secretary-treasurer, Messrs M- Ayrton andfT. ferindle.
