MOTOR REGULATION

BUSINESS AND PLEASURE. Mr W. B. Gough, borough inspector, pointed out to the Potono Council last evening that the existing system of motor traffic registration and licenses was unsatisfactory. A'motorcar or motor-cycle owner, ho said, only registered his vehicle once, while a person who earned his livelihood by carting with a motor-van had not only to register his vehicle, but also pay an .annual traffic license. The inspector expressed the opinion that a big pleasure, ear did as much damage to a road as a van.
