LONDON, April 10 Tho Stockport by-election lor two seats rosultcd : —Greenwood (Coalition UniojjSfet), 22,847: Fildes (Coalition Liberal), 22,380; Sir Leo Chiozza Money (Labour), 16,042; Perry (Cooperative), 14,434; Kindell (Independent), 5641; Terrett (Independent), 5543; O'Brien (Workers' Republican), 2330. The Dartford by-election resulted—Mills (Labour), 13,610; Wing (Liberal), 4562; Mefler (Coalition Unionist), 4221; Applin (National Party), 2952; Fehr (Independent), 1802.
At the general election, Stockport returned one Coalition-Liberal (the late Mr G. L. Hughes), and one Labour member (Mr G. J. Wardlo) unopposed. Tho general election result for Dartford tos: —Rowlands (CoalitionLiberal), 15,626; Ling (Labour), 650 d.
