A SERIOUS CHARGE
A charge of having indecently assaulted a female was preferred against Ernest Dawes, a middle-aged man, at tho Police Court on Saturday, but on tho application of Oliief-Dotoctive A. W,ard tho magistrate, Mr P. J*. HoN lingo, S.M., adjourned the hearing unI til Wednesday.
