CATERING FOR SCHOOL CHILDREN. Respecting the visit of the Prince of of Wales, at yesterday's meeting of the Education Board it was reported that the children would probably be assembled in Parliament grounds, which were handy to the wharves and to the sheds which the Harbour Board had placed at the disposal of the Educatipn Board. » Mr C. Our Otaki- correspondent writes:— "It is estimated tT»at several hundreds of Maoris, from Levin to Porirua, will congregate at Otaki prior to their departure to take part in the welcome to tho Prince of Wales at Rotorua, and n, suggestion has heen made that the hakas, dances, etc., to be,given at the thermal regions, be the main items of a, carnival, which could he held here to Taise money for the local Peace memorial."
