THE PRIME MINISTER
PROGRESSING SATISFACTORILY. The' Prime Minister passed a good night after his operation on Tuesday at the Bowen street private hospital, and wacs reported yesterday to be progressing very satisfactorily. The operation, the removal of a cyst at the back of the neck, was performed without the administration of chloroform, a local anaesthetic being all that was necessary. All that is required now, it is stated, is that Mr Massey should rest for a while. It is anticipated that he will be able to resume his Ministerial duties in the course of a few days.
