SANITARY INSPECTORS
AN ASSOCIATION FORMED. T.fc* New Zealand sanitary inspeotor* have formed an association, following the same lines as the parent English as. sooiation, with a view to the establishment in each, of the eight health districts, denned under the Puhlio Health Department, of a local centre, a. district within which the members attached to the centre may gather at stated times to discuss matters of common interest in connection with tho administration and scientific aspocts of their duties. It is proposed each year, alternatively in tho different centres, to hold a conference of sanitary inspectors and others interested in sanitary administration. • The following executive has been eloct. ed:—President, Mr F. B. Gardiner (Napier)! vice-president, Mr M. Kersna'V (Ohristchufeh); lion, treasurer, Mr W. Tomlinson (Christchurch); hon. secretary, Mr J. Terry (Wellington); auditors, Messrs Robinson (Wellington), and W. B. Gough (Petono); centre representatives, Messrs Tudehope (Auckland). W. Eddy (North Auckland), W. A. McGregor (Hawke's Bay), T. Par. getter (Wanganui and Taranaki), Egglo (Wellington), E. Nicol {Chrißtchuroh), K. Cameron (Otago), Coltman (Nelson and West Coast).
