NO SUBSIDY TO COMPANIES. ; (Reuter's Teleeram.l (Received Mijfeh 12, 9.5 p.m.) LONDON,. March 8. In tho House of Commons Mr Bridge stated that the Inter-Departmental (.Committee on Meat Supplies had reported against the suggestion that the Dominion meat companies should bo subsidised. Tho Government had given no financial “assistance to any Argentine meat company, but since August, 1915, the Board of Trade had leased works belonging to ft British;company in the Argentine, thereby reaping profits which otherwise would have gone into private hands.
