BIG LAND SALE
THE KOPANE PROPERTY. One of the most notable land,sales contemplated for some time is to be held at Feilding on March 23rd, when’ Rlr Lachlan T. McLean’s valuable Kopane property will be offered for sale. This is a well-known property situated close to Feilding and Palmerston •North, and the land is among the richest in the country. The Kopane property consists of 920 acres subdivided into 26 freehold sections of from 24 acres to 48 acres. The block is only one mile and a quarter from the Kongbtfea Dairy Factory and the Kongo tea school. It is eight and a half miles from Feilding and nine and a half from Palmerston .North by good roads. . Nearly all of the sections are level and every one would make a good farm. A new road to run through the block is being formed. Many of the , sections have water laid on from artesian wells. ' \ There will be offered for sale at the same time two farms near Cheltenham —one of 238 acres and the other of 270 acres. These farms consist of undulating country suited to dairying or fattening.
