WELLINGTON CONTROL BUSINESS AT THE ANNUAL MEETING. At the annual meeting of the "Wellington Football Association, Mr . Auld presided. In moving the adoption of the annual report (already published) the diairnun said that the season had been an. encouraging and a satisfactory one. If some of the representative matches could be repeated tins year there would.be ho fear for tho future of tho game. "Wellington had won the Brown Shield, and for this season several challenges had already been, mentioned. He urged enthusiasts to come forward and take charge of boys who wished to learn to play the game. If this were done all the schools would com© into the game. Laob year there had ibcen a largo number of accidents, and a proposal would be put before the meeting tor an accident insurance fund. The matter of grounds also would have to he considered. Air H. L. Godber seconded the motion, which was carried. t Mr TV. Duncan, treasurer, said that the season had been a satisfactory one financially. A profit of £47 18s ocl had been made. THE YEAR’S OFFICERS. As to the ago limits, it was decided that there should Ibo no limit and that tho third division should bo limited to players who were 21 years of age on April Ist. Other limits were fiscal as follow: —Fourth division, B years; fifth division, 16 years; sixth division 14 years; seventh division, It years; eighth division, 12 years. It was moved by Air A. W illiavus that a sub-clause of rule 8 should be amended to read:—“No member of life management commifee of any other association football controlling bodv shall be eligible to sit on the Wellington Football Association Alanagoment Committee, except he he tho president or a vice-president of the latter "body.’’ The motion was earned.
