Thomas presided at a joint committee, comprising representatives of tho Labour party, Trades Union Congress. Parliamentary Committee, and the Co-operative party. The com 'mlittoe accepted the draflt constitution of the-proposed Labour and Cooperative Alliance. The joint committee is now recommending the three affiliated organisations to accept.
