RESULT OF ADVANCE IX BANK DISCOUNT RATE. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received November 9, 11.20 p.m.) LONDON, November 6. The unexpected advance in the bank discount rate has somewhat disorganised the money and stock markets, and has weakened gilt-edged securities, but it is not thought that the dearer money is likely to greatly check speculative enterprise.
