ANNUAL FESTIVAL

CONTESTS DURING THE OPENING DAV. Tho Wellington Competitions Society opened its annual festival at tho Town Had yesterday most auspiciously. The first item of the contest commenced at ]l) o'clock in the morning, ami from then on Hieie was a good attendance of tho public throughout tho day. Tile evening session stalled at 8 o’clock before a large audience.
