MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES

DEMANDS x ON CITY COUNCIL. A largely attended meeting of municipal employees met in the Clyde quay school last night to discuss .the answer of the City Council to their demands. After some discussion the following resolution was passed unanimously,— “That this meeting of municipal employees, believing that their requests are the essence of moderation, regrets that the City Council has not met them in a more generous spirit. We further ask the Council to receive a deputation in order that the questions in dispute may be discussed. Further, that the Municipal Employees' Union rules ho registered.”
