SWIMMING
Tie Worser Bay Swimming; and lifeSavins Club held its annual meeting on Saturday night at the olnb’a new shed. Everything pointed to tie club having a most successful season. The following officers were elected for the ensuing season Patron, Mr B. A Wright, M.P.; president, Mr W. it. Greens vice-presidents, Messrs J. Brodie, B- Collie, H. W. Rountree, F. Silver, fi. K- Robertson, M. Manthel, and J. Hicks; captain, Mg C. T. Bell; vioeoaptain, Mr P. Pycroft; secretary, Mr W. H. Qerrie; treasurer, Mr F. J, R. Heath; management committee. Messrs H. Warcup, K. Davidson, G. Green, R. Cooper, F. Alexander, P. Blakeney, and B. Latta; ladies' committee, Mesoames Pycroft, Qerrie (captain), Bell, Robertson, Rountree. Waroup, Blakeney, Hioks, and Misses Kircher and Halli auditory Messrs T. O. Fox and J. W, Hall; delegates to Wellington Swimming Centre. Messrs C. T. Bell and W. H. Genie. It was decided to give a welcome home to all members who have returned from active service, and it was left to the incoming ladies' and management committees to arrange for a social evening to take place at an early date.
