N.Z. RUGBY UNION
DELEGATES TO AUSTRALIAN CONFERENCE. A/meeting of the management committee of the New Zealand Rugby Union was held last night. There were present: Messrs G, W. Slade (in the chair), G. T. Piki, W. W. Cook, A. Kitto, Q. Howe, and Captain T. H. Jones. The committee discussed the proposal to send delegates to the conference between the New South Woles, Queensland, and New Zealand Rugtyy Unions in Sydney next month. The acting-chairman asked for the opinion of members as to the number of delegates to bo sent by the Now Zealand Union. Mr Kitto moved that three delegates should bo sent to the conference—ono from the North Island, one from the South Island, and one member of the management committee. Captain Jones seconded the motion, which was carried. The delegates selected by the committee were Messrs H. Frost (Auckland), S. Wilson (Christchurch), and G. Howe (Wellington).
