YEARLING SALE
(Special 'to tho "Times." ) WANGANUI. February 21. The sale of Mr G. M. dime's yearlings attracted a ji'jod crowd to-day. Tne highest price realised was 575 guineas for a colt by Absurd from Eulogy. The main saies were:—A colt by Absurd— Bady Star, which wont to Mr Williamson for 175gns. A ohestnut colt by Absurd from Enlogy was bought by Mr Lindegreen for 575gns. A black colt by Absurd from Cintra went to Mr Peacock, of Hastings, for 200gus. Mr Oi. Dtxreenwood paid SSOOgus tor a colt byAbsurd from Bronze. A filly by Absurd from Liquify went to Mr C. Cross, of Hawke's Bay, for 75gns. Mr Williamson bought another youngster by Absurd from Condomail for loOgns, also a ijeldmg by Absurd from Holyrood for 40gns, and a King Rul'us gelding for SOgns. Mr Lindegreen paid 105gns for an Absurd—Marsala filly, and Mr Sid Reid paid 120gns fo». an Absurd—Carmaniel filly.
