CAMP NOTES
» ■ FEATHBRSTON. The Camp Commandant has approved of the following temporary appointmohts: —Corporal C. H. ■ Knight, of the 47th Specialists, to be temporary sergeant. Gunners W. T. Popplo. A. D. Bardie, and It. 11. Brown, of the 43th N.Z.F.A., to be bombardiers. Second-Lieutenant C. H. Prentice hss reported in camp, and is posted to the Headquarters Instructional Staff of the CI Camp. Regimental Sergeant-Majors N. A. Wilson, H. G. Hunter, \V. A. Totty, C. Hyslop, A. Reid and A. It. Gillespie have arrived in Camp on duty from Trentham. The 46th Infantry Reinforcement, comprising five companies, arrived at Featherston Camp by train from Trentham yesterday. They went into the tents at Canvas Town, from whence the Cl's departed yesterday. The CTs are now at Tauherenikau. 1) Company of the 4-7ths is also at Canvas Camp. This is a company of men classed fit after bcimr through the CI Camp. A further draft of CI men is concentrating at .Featherston, and as the n.en from each group arrive, they are marched to Tauherenikau.
