The greatest storm for twenty years is sweeping the Central and Western States, accompanied by the coldest weather ever recorded. Scores of cities are isolated by blizzards, and hundreds of people have been killed 1 in wrecked buildings. All tho Chicago schools are closed, and nine deaths arc reported.
