LADIES' ASSOCIATION. Tho competitions under the management of the Wellington ladies advanced another *tage on Saturday, the grounds were in good condition, and fast play wag the order of tho day. SENIORS. University A v. College B. The game -was very fast throughout, tho college girls put up 'a good fight, but had to' give way to tho older team. University winning by three goals to nil. the scorers were Misses Ellis, Hostiok, and Warrant. Mr E. Marshal was referee. Wellington Girls’ College A t.Ramblers B. The Girls’ College had things all their own way, playing with great dash and combination, they put on-five grris in the first spell, and four in the second, thus winning by nine goals to 3 51. Tho scorers were Misses Geddis (4), Marchbanks (4). and Grant (1). Mr Selig had charge of the game. ' Ramblers A won, by default over University B. JUNIORS. Te Aro School v. St. Augustine’*. In the first spell St. Augustine’s for a time had Te Aro School on the defence, but could not get through, both sides E laying with good combination, had the all travelling from end to ’ end. Miss TT King, for St, Augustine’s, was the first to score, betting the ball at the half-way ilne tho forwards carried play into the school circle. Hiss King, with a fine shot, finding tho net. Just before half-time Miss P. Olson, for the school, scored a nice goal. The spell ended one all. In the second spell the school broke away from the bully oS. and carried play into the Saints circle, the full-back saving by a hard drive up field. Play for a time was very even, the school getting on a fine passing rush, and Miss D Olson finished up a fine piece of play by finding the net. Saints putting in some fine passing rashes, but could not break down the defence of the school backs. The game ended in favour ofTe Aro School by two goals to. one, both sides deserve a word of praise for the fine exhibition of hookey, it was the best iunior game seen at Karon for a long time. Mr J. C. Cusack was referee. Y.W.C.A. v. Wellington iris* College. Y W C.A. had an easy win over Girls College by eight goals fo one- The scorers were for Y.W.C.A., Misses Y. Brindle (5). N. Grey, E. Kerr, and Hanley one each, for College Miss Manthel (1). Mr W. Richards was referee.
