SUPERANNUATION FUND,

The quarterly meeting of the board was hold on Thursday, Mr G. AUport in the chair. Nineteen contributors, retired under section 35 of the Act, by reason of age or length of service, were granted annual allowances totalling -*3261 toper annum, and five contributors, retired as medically unfit were granted allowances aggregating .£382 13s per annuxu. Six widows and six children were granted tho statutory allowance, amounting to (MRA nor annum. The board refused to (front to four contributors, whom it was proposed to retire as medically unfit. In consequence of retirements under section S 3 aocxaied compenKtttion to tho amount *of -£6903 10s 3d became a liability of the superannuation fund, and a corresponding, relief to the consolidated fund.
